All of the Review Reports issued by the Commissioner may be accessed through the website of the Canadian Legal Information Institute. Decisions on the CANLII site may be searched by keyword, date of issue, or alphabetically. The Review Reports are also available through the commercial service Quicklaw in the 'nsip' database.
The Information and Privacy Commissioner for Nova Scotia is also known as the Review Officer and is appointed as the independent oversight authority under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, the Municipal Government Act, the Personal Health Information Act and the Privacy Review Officer Act.
